Long Island Music Therapy provides music therapy to people of all ages and abilities. Long Island Music Therapy was established in 2011 with the intention of providing individuals and their families with optimal and effective therapy approaches to promote positive growth, change, and an overall increase in quality of life and well-being. Lauren Klimek, MS, LCAT, MT-BC- owner, continues to provide therapy services to children, adults and seniors, across Long Island and within the town of Huntington and its surrounding communities. Lauren specializes in special education, early childhood education, physical disabilities, mental illness, dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, terminal illness, substance abuse and anxiety. Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance with a focus on voice from Queens College and a master’s degree in music therapy from Molloy College.
